Brendan Brooks is an associate attorney at MLM. Brendan’s practice at MLM includes all aspects of school law, with a primary focus in school policy, Title IX, general and special education, student discipline, and student services. Brendan has worked on cases at the Massachusetts Superior Court and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. Prior to law school, Brendan worked as a teacher in public school systems in Massachusetts and New York, and his time as an educator brings a wealth of relevant experience to his practice. Brendan also previously served on the METCO Board of Directors.

Brendan joined the firm in 2025.

Education and Licenses

Brendan earned his B.A. from Vanderbilt University, and his J.D., magna cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School, where he was on the Suffolk University Law Review and served as an Articles Editor. Brendan also has an M.S. in Education from the City College of New York.

Brendan is a member of the Massachusetts bar and admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
