Nancy N. Nevils

Attorney

Nancy Nevils is an associate attorney at MLM. Nancy is an experienced school attorney whose law practice includes all aspects of school law, with a primary focus in school policy, Title IX, general and special education, student discipline, and student services. Nancy has litigated many matters at administrative agencies including the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) and the Bureau of Special Education Appeals (BSEA).

In addition to her representation of school districts, she is a frequent lecturer at professional conferences, workshops, and seminars on general and special education topics throughout Massachusetts. Before entering the field of school law, Nancy was a law clerk to the administrative law judges of the United States Department of Labor in Boston. She has been with the firm since 2026.

Education and Licenses

Nancy earned a B.A. in Organizational Behavior and Management from Brown University. She earned her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School, where she served as an Editor for the Transnational Law Journal.

Nancy is a member of the Massachusetts bar.

Professional Associations

Nancy has authored several commentaries on special education matters for the Massachusetts Special Education Reporter.
